The power of contrast in graphic design applied to interactive data visualization with Microsoft hashtagExcel – Now coloring the bars is relatively easy, but how about the axis item getting bold to go along with the “brushing” or highlighting of the bar? This gets crafty but feasible on spreadsheet. Having both the axis items bold and the highlighted bars brought to the foreground while the rest to the background would be appreciated subconsciously by audiences.
