Combined with charts, interesting things can happen, for example, below it´s a third variation of Jorge Camoes’ chart of “US # of Troops vs. Military spending” using the Index chart which helps to compare values which are vastly apart and also, understand variation with respect to a bench mark: this case year 1989. — Look at how the spending increased during G.W.
