My first official data graphic using Datawrapper, this tool is worth learning.  Small multiples with colored reference bands along with a nice interactive feature: synchronized tool-tip labels on the same data point across all multiples.  Punctual annotations have also been added to emphasize the massive drop on mass shootings in the state of Illinois while there’s an upward trend in Texas.
