013 Excel Charts with Dynamic Arrays: Small Stepped Multiples

Post 4 of 5: Small Multiples, Step Lines & #Excel´s # Dynamic Arrays # for plotting the continuous decrease in world regions of the share % population living in extreme poverty, according to the The World Bank . Of course, these percentages might be increasing during this Covid-19 pandemic, but I believe after a Post-Covid-future, those shares % will continue to decrease ✌😁.

The original chart included all lines into one, and you could easily see East Asia and Pacific and South Asia decreasing this share %. I just broke down the chart into small multiples and added the “Step” effect to the lines to amplify in what periods the shares % decreased in great extent. You can switch off “the step effect” and have the standard lines and lasty, but not recommended according to experts, you can switch on / off all the option of all charts sharing the same Y axis scale. Be careful on this!

And if this data is 100% accurate by the #WorldBank let´s dance to this world progress! see you tomorrow for the last post: 5 Sneak-peek: Donald Trump will be in it … 😬😱😬 As always you can download the file here 👉 https://lnkd.in/dN49MPM with chart name: “013: Small Stepped Multiples”
